Free kit · Claude for PI lawyers

Everything from the video, on one page

Every prompt from the video is below, ready to copy. The fake case file, both Claude skills and the 4 checks are 1 free download, no email needed.

Alejo Pijuan · Realization Partners

1 · The case file

Linacre v. Heddlestone

A Florida rear-end crash. 14 PDFs, 140 pages, faxed, scanned crooked and out of order, the way a real stack lands on the desk. 4 issues are planted in it. Every person and business in it is invented.

2 · Both skills

The chronology and the demand

Skill 1 sorts the stack, builds the medical chronology with a page cite on every line, and says whether the case is ready. Skill 2 drafts the demand and stops before every call only the attorney can make.

3 · The 4 checks

What a PI lawyer skims for

A gap in treatment, a prior injury, a permanency opinion, and medical bills against the policy limit, plus the readiness rule and the answer key for the practice file.

4 · Every prompt

Stage 0 to stage 5

Each prompt from the video, in order, on this page and in the download. Words in square brackets are yours to fill in.

Every prompt from the video

Intake to demand, in 5 stages

Copy, paste, make them yours. Words in [square brackets] are yours to fill in. The case in the video is made up; run these on the practice file first, then on a case you've already closed.

Your firm, once

Teach Claude the firm one time. Every client after that runs stages 1 to 5.

Set up your firm, once

Run this on your best model. Everything after it reads what it writes.

You're starting at our firm today, like a new paralegal on day 1. Interview me about how we work, 4 questions at a time. Ask me for our guidelines, our templates, and 2 or 3 closed cases you can learn from. When you have enough, write it up as our firm instructions, save them as FIRM.md in this folder, and show me.
Before you write up our instructions, ask me any strategic questions you have about how my firm works and research what a PI demand needs in [your jurisdiction].

When it gets 1 thing wrong

Don't judge it. Tell it, and make it permanent.

One thing. [What it got wrong, and what we say instead.] Update FIRM.md so it never happens again.
1

Intake

A new chat for every task. Give it the intake and nothing else yet.

Feed the intake, nothing else yet

Add the folder that holds the intake, then paste this.

Read FIRM.md in this folder first. The intake and the call notes for a new [rear-end] case are in [the file or folder]. [Client name], date of loss [date]. Read it and tell me what we know about the client and the crash, what we don't know yet, and what kind of document this is for the file.

What are we missing?

The question to ask at every stage.

Before we request anything, tell me what you'd want that isn't on this list and what you'd ask me if you were sitting next to me.

Add to any request

Ask me any strategic questions you have before you start.
2

Records

Ask what's missing before you ask for the work.

From the intake alone

Then ask it to turn the list into a spreadsheet for your records requests.

From this intake alone, list every record we need to request before anyone writes a demand, who we request it from, and why it matters. Include anything in the client's own words you'd want checked against the records.
3

Chronology

A page on every line. The 4 calls on it stay yours.

Build the med chron

Add the folder with every record in it. Skill 1 from the kit does the work.

Use the pi-medical-chronology skill. Read FIRM.md in this folder first. This is a [Florida auto case, a rear-end]. My client is [client name], date of loss [date]. The records came back the way they always do, out of order and some are faxes. Count everything as of today, [today's date]. Sort the stack into our folders, build me the med chron, run the checks, tell me what we asked for that still isn't here, and tell me if this case is ready for a demand.

Don't decide for me

The prompt that keeps the judgment with the lawyer.

Don't decide for me. Every fact carries its page. When you hit a call that is mine, a gap, a prior, the number, stop. Show me the options with the page, tell me what you couldn't verify, and ask me.

See it at a glance

Make a visual, sophisticated artifact that helps me understand the chronology, color-coded.

The 4 decisions on the practice file

The answers the lawyer gave in the video, one per flag, then save them.

Gap: we'll call the client and document why. Don't write anything about it until we have her answer.
Prior: we treat it as an aggravation of a prior condition, not a new injury. I'll talk to her about why she didn't tell us.
Permanency: not demand-ready in Florida without it. Draft a request to Dr. Castellane for a permanency opinion and an MMI date.
Bills over the limit: good. That's a policy-limits case. Show me paid versus billed on every bill.
Save these 4 decisions as rulings for this file.
4

Demand

Done right, and fast. It stops where you'd stop.

Draft the demand

A new chat, the same folder. Skill 2 from the kit does the work.

Use the pi-demand-package skill. Read FIRM.md and rulings.md in this folder first. Draft the demand from the chronology.

The 3 gates on the practice file

Privilege, the gap, and the number. The gap answer is made up for the practice file.

Gate 1: A. Leave the intake notes out and cite the records.
Gate 2: The client says her car was in the shop and she had no ride for those weeks. Use that paragraph.
Gate 3: A. A policy-limits demand. It goes out when Dr. Castellane's permanency opinion is in. I'll set the deadline then.
5

Review

You read it last. Claude reads it first, as the other side.

Before you read it

Read your own draft the way the adjuster will. List every sentence you'd attack and why, then fix the ones that are yours to fix and show me what changed.

Your edits

Mark it up the way you'd mark up a paralegal's draft. These are the 2 from the video.

The liability section leans on her account. Lead with the crash report and the witness, and keep her statement out of it.
Say the permanency opinion is pending, not that we hold it, and move the paid-versus-billed table above the demand paragraph.

Ready

Mark it ready for attorney signature and save the final package.

When it worked

Turn the run into something you reuse.

Look at how we just did this. Turn it into a skill I can reuse, and ask me anything you need to make it work every time.

Ask whoever bought the seats

Before a real client file goes near this.

Which Claude plan is our firm on, and is training on our data turned off?
Never send it without reading every citation. Every cite is a click.
Never put client data in a personal AI account. Not the one on your phone.
Never let Claude set the number. You saw it refuse.
How to use it

From download to your first chronology

  1. Add the 2 skills to ClaudeIn the Claude app, open Settings, then Capabilities, then Skills, and upload each skill zip from the kit's Skills folder. Code execution and file creation have to be on. In Claude Code, unzip them into your project's .claude/skills folder. You, once
  2. Set your firm's numbersOpen firm-rules.md in each skill and set your state and your readiness numbers. Florida is the only state written. Any other state needs the template filled in and checked by a lawyer licensed there. The attorney
  3. Run it on the fake file firstUnzip the kit, add the case file folder in Claude and run the prompts below, stage 0 to stage 5. Then open the answer key and see whether Claude caught all 4 plants. You or your case manager
  4. Then a case you've already closedYou know how that one ended, so you can judge what Claude caught and what it missed before it ever touches an open file. The attorney

Never put client data in a personal AI account, not the one on your phone and not the free one somebody at the firm signed up for. Which Claude plan is safe for what is on our Claude for lawyers page.

Want it built inside your firm?

30 minutes, free

We build it with your team, and we get paid when it makes you money. If we never work together, that's fine. That's why this is free.

Book 30 minutes

We are not lawyers and nothing here is legal advice. The case is fictional: the people, providers, carriers, firm, addresses and numbers are invented, and any resemblance to a real person or business is a coincidence. Florida statute numbers and billing codes are real. Every output the skills produce is a draft for attorney review, and the readiness line is your firm's own rule. Skill menu names as of October 2026.
